If you are planning to retire in 2026, we encourage you to attend a virtual “It’s Time to Retire” meeting this winter. In this one-hour session, a TRS counselor will walk you through the retirement timeline from your Personalized Retirement Interview through receipt of your first retirement payment. Post-retirement topics like health insurance, post-retirement employment, and Social Security/Medicare will also be discussed.
