SPRINGFIELD, IL – The Teachers’ Retirement System of the State of Illinois (TRS) is requesting proposals from qualified vendors to provide a new, integrated Pension Administration System, along with implementation and support services.
The proposed system will enhance TRS’s ability to efficiently deliver retirement, disability, and survivor benefits to more than 456,000 members. The new system will be cloud-hosted and browser-based, providing our members with robust self-service capabilities and seamless integration with TRS’s existing platforms, including document management, employer reporting, and financial accounting systems.
TRS encourages participation from minority, female, disabled, and veteran-owned firms. The Request for Proposal (RFP) outlines a comprehensive scope, including business process re-engineering, data conversion, training, and post-implementation support.
All proposals responding to the RFP must be submitted by 12:00 p.m. CDT on July 30, 2025, via the System’s eProcurement Portal: https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/trsil.
Questions regarding the RFP are due by 12:00 p.m. CDT on June 11, 2025, with responses posted by June 25, 2025.
